How To Open Ports in Your Router for Your Dedicated V Rising Server

When you set up a dedicated V Rising server and want other people to connect to it from the internet, one of the things you have to do is set up a port forward in your router.

The ports that need to be forwarded for V Rising Server are listed here:

V Rising Server - PC

• TCP:
• UDP: 27015-27016

You may need to forward ports in your router when you use V Rising Server. A port forward allows incoming connection requests from the internet to go straight to V Rising Server.

By default routers do not allow incoming network requests. Forwarding ports can work around this limitation.

Make sure that you know these things before forwarding a port:

• The internal IP address of your router.
• The IP address of your computer.
• Each of the TCP and UDP ports that you need to forward.

• Enter the TCP and UDP ports that you need to forward for V Rising Server in the corresponding boxes in your router.

Frequently you have to reboot your router for the changes to take effect.
