Set Up a Port Forward for an ACTi ENR-1100 DVR
You may need to forward ports in your router when you use an ACTi ENR-1100 DVR. The purpose of forwarding ports is to make a direct connection from the internet to an ACTi ENR-1100 DVR.
By default routers do not allow incoming network requests. Forwarding ports can work around this limitation.
Before Forwarding a Port
Before you can forward a port you need to know the following things:
- The internal IP address of your router.
- Your DVR's IP address.
- The TCP and UDP ports that need to be forwarded.
Find the IP Address of Your Router

- Log in to your router.

- Type the IP address of your DVR into the correct box in your router.
- Enter the TCP and UDP ports that you need to forward for an ACTi ENR-1100 DVR in the corresponding boxes in your router.
Usually you have to reboot your router in order to save the changes.
