Creating a Port Forward in Your Router for Wii

The following ports need to be forwarded for Wii:

Wii - Wii

  • TCP: 6667, 12400, 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920
  • UDP: 1-65535

You may need to forward ports in your router when you use Wii. A port forward allows incoming connection requests from the internet to go straight to Wii.

Routers are not designed to allow incoming network requests. By forwarding ports you can work around this limitation.
